Whether you need one for your job, want one for your DIY projects, or like to have one for kicking back at a tailgate party, a truck is a great vehicle to have in your corner. Pickup trucks are reliable, useful, and highly versatile, which explains their popularity with American drivers. And since trucks have to be built tough enough to withstand heavy use and hard work, they also tend to last for a long while, which means you can get a great deal on a pre-owned model without worrying too much about longevity.

We have plenty of used trucks for sale here at DriveHubler Certified Pre-Owned, and you can rely on every one of them to get the job done for you. Since we specialize in pre-owned vehicles, we know a thing or two about ensuring that the models in our inventory are ready to hit the road, with plenty of life left to serve you well for miles to come. We also have plenty of variety in our selection, with trucks big and small, light-duty and heavy-duty, and in trim levels ranging from basic and affordable to off-road ready to downright luxurious. No matter what you're looking for or what your budget is, we can set you up with a model that's exactly right for your current and future needs.

Shop Ford Trucks: The Maverick, Ranger, F-150, And Super Duty

Ford is well-known for building tough trucks and has been for many decades now. Across the lineup, you can expect Ford trucks to be highly capable and reliable, ready to tackle hard work. If you're looking for a more compact option that's easy to maneuver on tight city streets or winding OHV trails, then the midsize Ranger and compact Maverick are worth considering. For the full-size experience, there's always the ever-popular F-150, a best-seller across America with many modern features on more recent models. For the really big jobs, you can get a Super Duty model like the F-250 and F-350, which have higher towing and hauling stats as the numbers increase, with gas and diesel powertrains available.

With whatever model you choose, pay attention to the trim level. Something like an XL or XLT will be fairly basic, though it may still have a good number of useful features. On the higher end are trim names like King Ranch or Platinum, which will have more luxurious interiors and may also have more capable powertrains to boot. And if you're looking to do some serious off-roading, you can't go wrong with the legendary Raptor, which will be a rugged and ready-for-anything truck with features like skid plates and a raised suspension.

Shop GM Trucks: The Colorado, Canyon, Silverado 1500/HD, And Sierra 1500/HD

General Motors is another American automaker known for making popular and reliable trucks under brands like Chevy and GMC. Chevy models and their GMC equivalents tend to share a lot of underpinnings in common, but generally, the GMC version will be a little more stylish and luxurious, while the Chevy versions are more geared toward work and are often more affordable. In the midsize category, the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon offer great maneuverability. The Colorado has long offered dedicated off-road trim levels like the rugged Z71 and extremely capable ZR2. The Canyon's off-road trim levels have evolved over the years, but look for names like All Terrain, AT4, and AT4X if you're looking to head off of the pavement for some fun adventures.

For a full-size model, check out the Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. You can also find some off-road trims this size, but more will be better suited to the pavement. Plenty of powertrains have been offered over the years, so you can find one with the power and fuel type you're looking for. Both the Silverado and Sierra offer heavy-duty versions, which have higher numbers like 2500 and 3500, so you can easily work your way up and down the spectrum to find the perfect balance between power and price. GM trucks are known for staying in good working order even when the number on the odometer gets high, so unless you're looking for the latest tech features, you shouldn't feel like you have to stick to newer models.

Shop Nissan And Toyota Trucks: The Tundra, Titan, Frontier, And Tacoma

In addition to domestic trucks, we also get plenty of imported brands, meaning our customers have even more variety to choose from. Nissan, which makes the midsize Frontier and full-size Titan, is known for making comfortable cabins that can help you relax after a long day's work and having a simplified lineup that often features a single powertrain, so lower trim levels just lose a few features here and there without making you sacrifice any horsepower or torque. With Nissan, off-roaders will want to keep an eye out for the Pro-X or Pro-4X trims.

Toyota is a brand known for making reliable vehicles, and its trucks are no exception. The full-size Tundra has bold looks, an impressive range of standard features, and has long been available in the extremely rugged TRD Pro off-road trim. The midsize Tacoma tends to out-sell its larger counterpart, which makes it an outlier among other midsize pickups and speaks to its tough construction and impressive capability. It can also be had in off-road trims like the TRD Off-Road, Trail Edition, and TRD Pro.

Shop Ram Trucks: The 1500, 2500, And 3500

The Dodge Ram built up such a following that its parent company, Stellantis, decided to spin Ram off as its own nameplate, one that specializes in trucks and cargo vans instead of spreading itself thin with a lineup of sedans, hatchbacks, and SUVs as well. The Ram 1500 has long been known for pairing tough-as-nails construction with a smooth and comfortable ride. When it was overhauled for the 2019 model year, the truck became more stylish and upgraded its interior materials, giving it a reputation for luxury that it has lived up to ever since. The same holds true for the heavy-duty Ram 2500 and Ram 3500. Ram's answer to Ford's Raptor trim is the rugged TRX, which has been around since the 2021 model year. For an entry-level off-road trim, you can look for a Ram 1500 Rebel.
